Rayuela (make sure you read this one all the way to the end)

After a long month and then a long trip I'm home and finally taking a little time to relax before things get busy again. (hee hee, I just said "get busy" tee hee)

I spent most of July rushing from class to class and doing homework in between. I enjoyed my classes but I'm glad to see them gone. My teacher says that with the skills that I learned, I could become a production or design room assistant at a fashion company. I'm going to give it just a little more time before I start looking for a new job. I don't want to leave my boss high and dry and they think they may have found someone new for my team. So, hopefully I'll be able to train a new team member before I tell them that I'm leaving.

Sorry if this entry is a little fuzzy. I just woke up from a nap.

I went back east for a wedding. My best friend from high school got married back in our home town and it was actually a lot of fun and a very touching experience to go back and see everyone again. I always assumed that since I moved away, everyone forgot about me but I had a lot of friends and even the Bride's family let me know that I was still a part of their lives and that they were glad I made it all the way back. Even the groom told me how much it meant to them that I made the trip. I was really glad that I went and I was able to reconnect with a old friends. It was great. Oh yeah and I caught the bouquet, which leads to the next piece of news.

Rollo asked me to marry him. We were in Kansas and I said yes. The wedding will be sometime next year. We told my parents over dinner last night and they're so happy. My mom can't wait to go dress shopping and my dad is is proud. Rollo's parents are really happy too.

I miss you. I wish you would call. Take care!

Oh my Gosh! Congrats babe!

Somehow fitting that he asked in Kansas...

I'm glad to see you are well. I will be out there in October to see Neil, but I will call you when things get more, er, appropriate? I'm off for Nationals, but yeah, you know how that goes.

And. Just because, I owe you a reading now.

The love.

Damn. I knew I should have married you that night when I had the chance, when you were, you know, drunk.

Ah well.

Congratulations, my dear. :)

I second the 'Woo-Hoo!!'

You're big news just trickled down the grapevine! Congratulations to you and Rollo -- couldn't have happened to two nicer kids. ;)

Ditto what Faith said -- if you need any help, let me know.

Julia ;)

Congratulations!

That's wonderful news, Peggy! Congratulations to you and the future Mr. Peggy (hee hee). It all just makes me think of how there's a reason for everything. There's a reason your gut told you to take a leap and come out to L.A. Look at all of the wonderful things that have happened in your life as a result.

A little birdie told us last night that you'll be back at SnB next week to share the your story. Can't wait to see you and to hear it!

Angela

p.s. As for a picture on your invitation, I just saw an invitation like that and it did add a nice personal touch (though the pic was one of those "look how in love we are, we can't even stop staring into each other's eyes to look at the camera" shots). It might be a good choice if you're inviting many people who don't know you very well or haven't seen you in a long time . . .
